Off the slopes
Fun and action during your winter holiday here in Sölden
Away from the slopes, cross-country trails, romantic winter hiking trails, ice skating rinks and fun tobogganing games are fun for all generations. Three free trails in Sölden offer cross-country skiing fun for skaters and classics. Different levels of difficulty provide variety, if you complete your altitude training at 1,500 metres above sea level. Cross-country skiing is easy to learn, strengthens the cardiovascular system and makes the beautiful winter landscape of Sölden a lot of fun.
Speaking of fun: You have to take a fun toboggan run with your friends. And of course you can’t miss an obligatory hut evening. Night tobogganing on the Gaislachalm/Silbertal toboggan run is our absolute favourite. And the Stallwiesalm toboggan run is also worth a recommendation. You can either walk or take the bus to the starting point of your toboggan run.
Snowshoeing and winter hiking are becoming increasingly popular. You can be close to nature on cleared winter hiking trails or hike across meadows and through snow-covered forests with snowshoes. You can get the equipment in the sports shop opposite our Riders In Hotel Sölden.
Enjoy the winter holidays here in the Ötztal!
